''Fapping, to fap.'' An activity embraced by most [[Kakaists]]. Generally refers to any kind of stimulation of the genitalia, usually performed alone.
Typically involves the use of at least one hand, two in the case of well-endowed men (see also: [[Mortis]], [[Smeagol]]) or people who have developed advanced fapping techniques (see also: [[Armand]]). Sometimes additional paraphernalia and/or the power of sheer imagination are used to achieve alterations from the default, sometimes outright dull and dreary fapping style.
== Etymology
The term ''fapping'' has entered kaka language from the webcomic [[http://sexylosers.com/|Sexy Losers]], specifically the series of strips titled [[http://sexylosers.com/027.html|Mike's Left Hand]] (WARNING: direct link to explicit content). In the comic, "fap" is used as an onomatopoetic sound effect denoting masturbation.
Possible earlier origins of the word are unknown, and completely irrelevant in the context of kaka.
The word was initially taken to mean only male masturbation, but it has later evolved to be less gender-specific. [[http://sexylosers.com/122.html|Sexy Losers used another sound effect]], "shlick", for female masturbation, but this word quickly lost its popularity. This was mainly due to the lack of female kakaists openly discussing their fapping, as well as the slightly difficult spelling of the word.
== Controversy
Mainstream biology sometimes refers to fapping by the term ''autoeroticism''. The use of such a word is however disputed by some hands-on experts, as they consider the root word ''auto'' blasphemous in the context of fapping. In their opinion, the word ''manual'' should be used as the root, as it directly refers to the handiwork that forms the very foundation of mainstream fapping.
