Wii
Wii is the 5th home console made by Nintendo. First it was called "Revolution", but it was announced as Wii in E3 2006.
There were many critics about the name "Wii", but Nintendo answered them that Wii is easy to pronounce in any cultures around the world, also it is pronounced as "We", which tells that Wii is for everyone.
Wii is different from the other 8th generation consoles (Xbox360 and PlayStation 3) with its unique controller system.
The main controller is Wii Remote (also called as Wiimote) and Nunchucku, and other controllers are with names Wii Classic Controller, Wii Zapper, Wii Wheel and Wii Balance Board. The last three controllers were announced in Nintendo's E3 2007 Press Conference. Wii also uses Nintendo GameCube's pad.
Wii is also the cheapest home console.
