06.02.07 Sometimes the boy goes wild: Ripatius goes raving mad with retro consoles.
06.03.07 Bought a Duo-R from an Italian seller.
13.03.07 Time 2 PC Engine: The Duo-R was described as unused by the auction's seller but we discovered that it had indeed been used in its previous life and actually had been RGB-modified. The seller seemed oblivious to this fact.
Due to some games not being read as well as they could by the CD drive's lens we first tried to clean it up and find out the correct brand to use. We were suggested Verbatim Datalife Plus.
19.03.07 Verbatim Datalife Plus' suck. Total bomb.
29.03.07 This led us to believe the lens was damaged and we proceeded exchange the drive's lens (HOP-M3) to a new one we bought from Electronix.com.
30.03.07 We ran into apparent laser calibration adjustment issues and fell back onto the old HOP-M3.
07.04.07 The stupendous hassle with the Hori pad seller has been worked out. The person only communicated in Italian. We'll be getting it shortly, if it's good, we're getting a 2nd pad of the same quality.
15.04.07 Found an Arcade Card Pro for a fairly good price.
16.04.07 Hori Fighting Commander arrives by mail.

27.04.07 More hassling with the lens. We're just not getting solid gameplay out of the machine. Who would've thought being a PCE owner is this difficult and expensive?
10.05.07 (Somewhere around this date) Street Fighter 2' Champion Edition arrives.
19.05.07 Replaced HOP-M3 lens arrives! It's in a totally different package this time. Will it work?
21.05.07 Finally install the new lens. Not only is the lens intensity adjuster glued together like in the old one but it also works perfectly! No more worries!
01.06.07 Dorden and Darkelth come play Battle Lode Runner and Fatal Fury 2 with us after Dorden's birthday party at Ideapark. Great fun. Fatal Fury 2 page created as a result! More multiplayer sessions will follow.
09.10.2007 We buy Don Doko Don and Ankoko Densetsu.
27.07.09 Received our 4th game pad for PC Engine in the form of the Forgotten Worlds special box.
