Haha, index2.php (the developmental version) doesn't work either, apparently. Smeagol can probably open the file for public use, though.

If there are such urgent matters (that are clearly about new issues), by the way, you can make new threads altogether.

What about a shoutbox?
Heh, it'd be cool that neekeri could put the messages that appear on the shoutbox on the channel... dunno if that's possible.. =P

Random lines from #kaka would be too risky, there's often content that isn't really front page material... but a shoutbox sounds fine though.

Now shout is there! You can also make Neekeri do things with /me, and keep her clean!

The next thing Neekeri will do is to gather statistics on what she have done and it shall be shown somewhere on Slowdays.

Now you can think of suggestions Neekeri would keep track and post them here. We have already thought of following things:
Shout queue length, total # of shouts, last shout message, # of cartoons made, # of links parsed, current user list, Neekeri bot online time, Neekeri box uptime.

So post your suggestions and opinions about things listed above. Avoid duplicates with kakalog page.

Postby Smeagol » Thu Apr 27, 2006 09:52

Would a google map be interesting to put on the site, where we could add markers to various places?

Google Map would be great!

Postby Ripatius » Thu Apr 27, 2006 22:13

We could create our own kakamap here: http://www.frappr.com/
Don't really know how it works, but I've seen some communities mapped with it Wink

It's a bit annoying to have to be re-clicking on the marker to finish reading the text, since it closes after 3 seconds or so =P
