I'm sorry about the lack of translation for non-Finns, but the gist here is that our prime minister's behavior is being criticized; He did some heavy metal hand sign practices with Lordi and here the local newspaper deems the \m/ hand sign "vulgar" and "inappropriate".

My two cents is that for metal listeners, \m/ is a sign of togetherness and unity. It carries no other messages. Am I wrong?

Nah, it's as ridiculous as saying Lordi are satanist just because they look like they do, \m/ to the people!
