Today we got all the cool stuff from internet blocked at the office...
No more irc for nin at work now =P Also no music, software downloading, game playing and p0rn browsing (not that I did those two, but they were blocked).
I kind of helped in those ones ^^ again, not that I do any of that, but I guess that hanging around with you guys has made me learn where to look for stuff x) So after the blocks were made, I was appointed to check if I still could get into other stuff, and then I messaged the guy that is doing the blockings to tell him what stuff I found. It was hilarious to see the faces he made when I showedd him the long list of stuff that needed to be blocked, it wasn't so hard though, I mean, I just rembembered all your hentai stuff and on wiki just searched for it and found all the other words that relate to it. The guy seems to be kind of shy so when he searched what stuff they were he was changing colours xD
My supervisor was the one that had to do all that, but she didn't want to so no one would think that she knows where to look for that stuff, so she asked me to do it, makes me wonder what kind of idea she has of me....

I tried the one he made for mushy, but dunno why it takes ages (much more than anywhere else, since I use it at school too ^_^) to connect and when it does, it throws at me 50 lines all at once and then says Disconnected -_-; Happens with all cgi irc's I've tried so far...

Oh and I can use IM's, at least msn messenger, but that's because we talk to the other offices with it =D

Because of all the blockings, everyone's getting pissed because they can't open sites like http://www.yahoo.com or dl .doc attachments xD
Sadly for them, and luckily for me, Roberto, the guy that has access to the permission things, doesn't work on saturdays, I pity him on monday when everyone can tell him about that... I don't know why some can't dl .doc attachments and others can, it's not like it reads what words are in the file... and if it does, why would p0rn be in a work attachment? O_o

At work there have been some changes, changes not everyone seems to like. So most employees are a bit sensitive about everything =/ Today there was this huge argument between my supervisor and one of the technitians, he had orders by his supervisor to do something (but he was waiting for some people to finish another thing so he could work on that), so my supervisor told him that while he was waiting, he could do something else. He told her he couldn't because he was busy, she got angry and blah blah blha... this has happened between them many times before, she used to be his supervisor, but because they didn't get along very well, he was moved and some other guy is his supervisor now. Usually I wouldn't be so affected by that, but you see that the work environment has changed a lot, everyone is trying to keep their things safe and insist in talking bad about everyone else so their place in the office isn't compromised by anything... -_-;

The changes that have been done are good changes, but well, almost nobody seems to like changes =\

Since it seems I can't post from work anymore (somehow it won't let me log in), guess my forum babbling will reduce more =/

The changes are that this lady that has only like 2 weeks from working here, started as the one in charge of the warehouse to the Management Assistant. She is a very good person, all her potential was getting lost leaving her just in charge of the things we have in stock... but because of that, almost everyone in the office are kind of feeling resentful, because she's still new and she's doing all the things they were too lazy to do, therefore the boss is giving her more responsibilities and putting her above everyone else in the office.
That makes the whole office environment very unstable and uncomfortable, I really don't like going out of my desk because I might find someone talking bad about Ángela (the "warehouse girl"), but also I hate being in my desk since I can hear Amanda (my supervisor) and José Luis (the technitian) arguing and you sense that cold hate between each other. It's really uncomfortable, and then I feel so bad because when José Luis leaves, Amanda starts talking about firing José Luis, or quitting here because she has enough personal problems and work should be a place where she can focus on something else rather than get more problems. And when Amanda leaves, José Luis starts complaining about her...
It's strange it has only been 3 days since all this problem began (at least the big one, since Amanda and José Luis have had problems from the start), it feels like it's been weeks x_x

Hey mort, do you know how do those blocks work? First I thought they were going to block the port, but when I open the kakachat page, the java applet never loads, so my guess was that they blocked all things from java (like they did with flash stuff, I can't even see navigation buttons that are in flash and all that), but making some speedtests http://www.dslreports.com/stest <-- there, I noticed that the java thing worked, what difference is between the java chat applet and that one?

Btw, in the kakachat, it doesn't even ask me for the certificate thing, or the java cup box, nothing appears, it's just blank, if that makes any difference
