Billy Corgan - TheFutureEmbrace

I'll have to write a review based on my experiences and what I've read and heard Billy say. This album seems to be one of those albums that get three stars from every reviewer because they fail to understand how to award the extra two. It's intriguing. To me, it feels like listeners fail to understa...

The Cure Appreciation Thread

Robert Smith and his smeared lipstick, smudgy eyeliner and the teased explosion of hair left an unimaginable mark in my psyche when I first discovered the band. Here's Robert in a TV appearance with Siouxsie & the Banshees from 1982, on French television (Sorry, it's big, 900kb - I ripped it int...

http://www.slowdays.org/projects/retrorpg/fire_emblem_example.gif The .gif is 450kb so please hold on tight while it loads. I'm asking you to think of what is possibly "wrong" in this beginning animation for the game I pastiched together from screenshots I took. What do you think is against good de...

As for the whole setting and look, I do imagine this to work still in a fantasy environment. That's just the easiest thing to do atm. We can have steam guns and cruddy machinery and all that, but it is best to keep to grassy fields because that's something we can actually draw.

I see it sounds silly to you, perhaps the word "implant" does it... but think of a race or a certain kind of symbiosis rather... think of it more towards the summon spirits Only now it is even more integral for a player Think of a nano chip Only it is a living thing You gotta have a tradeoff that go...

Story/-line Elements

Ok. People have found a way of using a certain kind of species as implants to enhance their normal qualities over normal human levels. Not everybody approves, though, most people consider this implanting sacrilege - there are religious cults that are pro- and anti-implant, the goverment is officiall...

Basically, as far as artwork goes, the simpler the better. That said, it's still important that we feel as artists that we can portray enough with the pixels in use - therefore I truly, duly feel that the more realistic chibi approach will be the best. In that approach, battle scenes can effectively...

Combat System

I vote for a system where you can move your character during combat. It is more exciting than choosing menus.

The Tales of Phantasia variant is great - you go into battle mode, but are still able to move and hit the enemies yourself.

Although I didn't make it obvious that I was planning to post a proper post later, I'm sorry about adding that comment first. However, it is entirely linked to my opinion about legalizing drugs in general; goverments of today have a tremendous power over the well-being of humans and yet mankind valu...

Notice to All Our Ten (10) Users!

Slowdays darlings! I'm sorry about this unfortunate disturbance in this simple life flow of events, but the situation regarding the board is the following: We've imported our old Invision Power Board Destiny (In case you do not know what that is, don't bother, things will show up later as another fo...
