Torrenting: BitComet & DHT

I'm really, really disappointed in torrent tracker owners being prejudiced towards the DHT system introduced in the latest versions of the BitComet (http://www.bitcomet.com) torrent program. It has, by far, the most intuitive user interface and the best features among all of the torrent programs I h...

I just downloaded the latest BlindWrite and Daemon Tools as well. There's been plenty of interesting discussion related to the imaging standards as of late - I'll elaborate more on this today once I get things installed.

I fell into the same trap twice - wrong driver, crapped computer. Heh.

Intriguing development as of lately, has it not been? :p

Anything else you've seen after they promised to recall all of the rootkit-based CDs?

I've meant to type this a thousand times now, but... the difference between you and the rest is that you don't pretend to be crafting something noteworthy. While I am perhaps qualified to throw an educated guess about how much time you generally put into writing poetry in your free time, but in case...

Pretension! I am so sick and tired of pretentious, pompous, overbearing, self-admiring crap! A good dictionary does not make a good writer! I hereby denounce I shan't read one more angsty poem about resuscitating one's previously ephemeral, fleeting spiritual advocation with an oh-so-fucking clever ...

This would be nice to implement to the blog page - showing logged in users with some icon, for instance.

Smeagol: Showing/Hiding Entire Categories

This is something I've been thinking about, mainly because of the Destiny backup. It would be preferred to keep it out of sight, wouldn't it? We can, of course, just disable all of the forums from view, but I'm thinking it would be easier to just try to figure out a way to hide the category entirely...

Releasing Current Forum Theme

I'm kind of fancying this theme, perhaps we should try to clean it up, package and then release it for others to use? There are a few problems with it (mainly the lack of information regarding whether you're logged in or out) etc, but I think there's some potential in this layout. Plus, creating the...

Forum Software Round-up

Although UBB, Ikonboard and Invision Power Board have all become somewhat redundant (even vBulletin, to some degree), one can suddenly find plenty of different alternatives for forum software. http://www.phpbb.com/ http://www.minibb.net/ http://www.wowbb.com/ http://www.punbb.org/ http://www.simplem...

Howabout this one?

The only question arising is that phpBB is still gonna be an amusement regarding such a feature.

Haha, true. I didn't think of Macintosh here at all - I used Eudora on Macs too. Basically the Mac Eudora is an even more solid product than the PC version, though. They have so many years behind the product on that platform. I checked a few more programs, but they weren't substantial enough to real...
