Re: 10 things christians and atheists can agree on

Pride is, naturally, perhaps the worst of the seven deadly sins for Catholics. That reflects the stance many religions take on the matter. We mortals are nothing, and if we ever become something, we should never forget who it really comes from (although we did all the work). What's wrong with pride,...

Re: "People Are Idiots"

Oh yeah, there was also this line that prompted me to write a separate post in addition to the one sticking with the original subject: The cognitive powers of logic, deduction, and inference are the greatest strengths of any mind considered to be "smart;" logic being chief among those as i...

Re: "People Are Idiots"

The original posting was one of my earliest here, and it shows <:( Sure, people have very varying levels of intelligence (which could be generalized as the ability to use logic). However, I feel that most of the time when people call someone else stupid or an idiot they don't refer to that. Most of ...

Re: No Rest For The Wicked, Rest For The Rest?

I would say that the preponderance of people in this day and age would like to believe in subjective morals, situational ethics, and relative right and wrong as they make it much easier to do exactly what you want, when you want, and feel perfectly justified doing it. However, the flaw in this line...

Re: Recommend software

To follow up on this, LiveTweeter 2.3 supports writing currently playing song titles out to a text file now, so you can write a script to read from it. Thanks, that works great and was just what I was looking for :) And to make it easier for those of us who don't remember mIRC scripting by heart :b...

Re: KAKA groups

Nice! There's also, naturally, a Facebook community for Kakaists. Any new facebooker can find it from our profiles. Also, there's an application there to help you list your IRC channels and networks in more of an IRC style. Find a link to it from my profile. Dunno if those things can be linked with ...

Re: PDF Readers

A good while ago I finally got pissed at Acrobat and wiped the floor with it, and got Foxit instead. It was alright, however after some time it started to be a real problem that it couldn't open all PDFs. Kind of misses the point when easily a third of them were not viewable. Finally I assed myself ...

Re: Kaka Holiday Banners

Took half a second to figure that one out, it's a bit borderline when it comes to recognition... maybe add a lightsaber in the middle, or a picture of a hooded jedi? Making a silhouette picture of a photo of any robed jedi wielding a lightsaber would look cool, be easy and the copyright of the photo...

Re: Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines

Hmm, just something that caught my attention... if they were finished early, and were actually prevented by Valve from releasing the game at that point, then how could they also have been forced by Activision to publish it too early as a buggy Crappadocian?

You're right, that is hot, but women are different! They're allowed much more freedom in dressing and behaviour, too. Besides, crouch-bikes are a little effeminate by nature, aren't they? B)

Kawasaki Ninja?! More like Texas Pirate ^___^; That is to say, I surely will not get a squat-bike, if I need to squat there are plenty of toilets and bushes around~ No, it gotta be classic/custom, which is, the sort where you sit like you'd sit in an armchair. But yeah, so far so good! I forgot to m...

Re: PEOPLE OF CHINA, FREE YOURSELVES

Oh yeah, this has been up for quite a while now. The point was to see if Slowdays would get on the list of websites detrimental to Chinese unity :D http://greatfirewallofchina.org/ Hmm... I wonder if the site is ok atm. When I enter any address, it just gives this almost blank noninformative page, t...

Re: Small annoyance with forums and slapping curtain too

Yeah, that seems to be the case! However, it doesn't always happen like that, at least earlier I noticed the browser will specifically return it to the appropriate spot after the images have changed the page size and layout. Could be a firefox thing though, their updates often seem to cause secondar...

Re: Signatures and Sexism

Today while driving the mail car my mind wandered as always, and also lingered on this issue here. I guess I gotta add a few more things. Firstly, I wouldn't consider myself misogynistic, despite what I said in the previous post. To further elaborate my view, I do think that women should be treated ...

Well, I should probably make this into a long and ponderous post just as yours is... alas, it's late and I'm tired. However, I refused to just postpone replying because in such cases it can take weeks for a reply to happen >_> from me, that is. So, the few things that came to my mind when reading! F...

But what do you mean by "I only had mspaint"!? Are you suggesting using mspaint results in shoddy pictures like that?!
