Re: Rip and encode a dvd
I'll just say that Handbreak is a nice and simple tool that most likely has super much under the hood if you care to look. I try to use presets with a few tweaks (encoder and so on) and it works good. Pretty fast too i think

Rip and encode a dvd
Does anyone know a single program that can rip a dvd, preferably episodes, and encode it with xvid ? I hate to use 100 programs to do this...

I agree with those selected tracks! And translating them sounds like a not-so-fun thing to do, i say get on with new tracks Or new lyrics to existing melodies

Disk quota exceeded :(
When trying to upload my video of my diving experience i got this error message: Disk quota exceeded. Not that it matters much but i still feel that if you know you got something not so new/important and which takes a lot of space, please tell us so we can remove it so we all can keep uploading stuff.

Re: Small annoyance with forums and slapping curtain too
I suspected this, and it is exactly as mortis says. I dunno if there's anything to do about it though since it's up to the browser to handle anchors.

Re: Old Mac 2 New Mac
While waiting for the patch, you could look at MacTheRipper, it can supposedly rip any dvd to your harddrive and remove the region code..
